While other kids were at the mall, I was home writing horror stories, poetry and music on my guitar. I happily earned my bachelor of science degree in computer science from Florida Tech where the male-to-female ratio was five to one and the beach was a bike-ride away. As the only girl in an Italian family, I was closely watched until I married. I live in a 1923, Florentine-style home with lots of musical instruments and books strewn thoughout the house. I'd much rather write and solve creative problems than clean. Simply put, I love what I do for a living - it comes second only to being a mother of three. |
